An AO.com spokesperson confirmed that the whole thing took around 150 hours to put together, using a staggering 1,516 cupcakes in total – which were hand decorated before being individually put in to place over a 24 hour period.

Wednesday night’s final
saw Nadiya Hussain, the bookies’ favourite to take the title.
